DR MUDDUKIRAN C JAGADISH

MBBS, MHA

Dr Muddu is an experienced doctor, graduating in 2002. He worked as a GP in India for over seven years before moving to Australia to further his training and career. He has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including healthcare management and administration. Dr. Muddu has interests in all aspects of General Practice.

Outside of work, Dr Muddu is married to another GP and struggles to escape the dinner table medical discussions. He has two young boys who help to distract him from his love of medicine. He can often be found with his boys in the garden or in the kitchen, mastering his culinary skills. He is a keen collector of stamps and coins and more recently has started collecting matchboxes!

DR FAITH SHIBAMBO

My story about home visits:

Home visits are different in that the patients are more relaxed in their homes. Most of them are very grateful for the visits, especially those with young children. They are spared the inconvenience of going to the Medical Centre with all of them when only one is sick. There are those who cannot get bookings into their GPs as a matter of urgency.

The list of advantages for the patients is endless.

The visits are a different experience for the doctor as well because the patient behaves differently from when they are in the Medical Centre. In there they sometimes think they need to be out of the Consulting room as quickly as possible.
